Raila is preparing to seek the African Union Commission chairperson position. Kalonzo’s leadership role in the coalition is set to strengthen Azimio’s position.
The coalition’s co-principals endorsed Kalonzo as the new leader, emphasizing that there will be no leadership vacuum with his appointment.
