GACHAGUA’s fingers are crossed as he waits for the court decision regarding his impeachment – Shares his next steps

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is on edge as he anticipates the court’s decision on his impeachment, which will affect his ability to hold public office.

Speaking yesterday in Kakamega, Gachagua asserted that no matter the result of the court case regarding his impeachment, he continues to be a leader in the nation.

He stated that Kenyans did not impeach him.

He also highlighted his open-mindedness, recognizing that there are many capable leaders who can steer the nation, independent of the court’s ruling on his impeachment.

“The issue is in court and regardless of the verdict, I remain a leader in this country. I have my own supporters who have not been influenced by the impeachment.

“The people of Kenya did not impeach me. There are numerous Kenyans who can lead. I don’t need to hold a position.

“I am not a selfish individual. I am someone who is open-minded. What we desire is the best for this country. “

“We have a court matter and we trust the court will deliver justice, but whatever the outcome, it does not matter,” Gachagua stated.

He also affirmed that he will keep interacting with Kenyans, asserting that they heed his words because he has valuable contributions to make.

“We are conversing with the people and they are receptive to us. “

“And they listen to me not due to my position but because I have something meaningful to provide. “

“If you observe newspapers and social media, all government officials discuss me daily, even more than during my time in office, indicating I have something worthwhile to offer. We will persist in our engagements,” he concluded.
