The Kenyan media fraternity and state functions community were shaken on Thursday afternoon with the sudden death of Sammy Lui Wang’ondu, a veteran broadcaster and former Master of Ceremonies at State House (Nairobi). His son, Chris Wang’ondu, confirmed his passing on the afternoon of 23 October 2025.
