GACHAGUA is now threatening President RUTO, promising to stick to his tribal ways.

Rigathi Gachagua, Deputy President, has pledged to maintain his tribal identity in his campaign for a larger stake in President William Ruto’s government for his Mt. Kenya area.

Gachagua provided an argument in support of his position regarding Mt. Kenya politics, dismissing critics who said he put the region ahead of other things.

He stated that because Mount Kenya is his political stronghold, he would continue to advocate for its interests without regard to favor. “I have received criticism for speaking in Kikuyu, but I intend to continue.

Gachagua stated, “If loving our people and fighting for them is an offense, then I accept my mistakes.” The DP also said that Kenyans should respect their customs and embrace their native languages.

Gachagua went on to say that even though he was called a “tribal” person because he was fighting for the rights of his people, he would not give in.
