President Samia Suluhu of Tanzania expressed full support for Raila Odinga’s bid for the African Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship.
Suluhu highlighted Raila’s pan-Africanist leadership qualities and his understanding of Africa’s development concerns.
She emphasized his strong relationships with Tanzanian and other African leaders, endorsing his candidacy.
Suluhu described Raila as a wise statesman capable of advocating for Africa’s development priorities.
She assured Kenya of Tanzania’s backing for Raila’s AUC Chairperson candidacy, stating, “Baba anatosha, achaguliwe.”
Raila, in turn, expressed readiness to serve Africa. He sought support from African Heads of State. He emphasized his commitment to the continent’s advancement.
