•Nominated ODM MP John Mbadi has urged former Prime Minister Raila Odinga not to consult former President Uhuru Kenyatta if he plans to engage with President William Ruto.
John Mbadi, a nominated ODM MP, has urged former Prime Minister Raila Odinga not to talk to former President Uhuru Kenyatta if he wants to talk to President William Ruto.
According to reports, Raila discussed a deal with Ruto with Uhuru. The former president advised Raila to drop the deal and promised to back Raila for president in 2027.
Mbadi, who also serves as chairman of the ODM, refuted Uhuru’s argument on Saturday by stating that the former president would have the opportunity to succeed Raila as president in 2022.
You are telling us that Uhuru has the key to take us to the State House now, but he gave the key to someone else while he was there. “Presently you are letting us know that Uhuru can give us the way in to the State House,” he expressed.
Mbadi’s sentiments followed reports that Uhuru and Raila met in Dubai to talk about a deal to take power in 2027.
