Raila Odinga Now Leading Government, Not Ruto – LOOK

Makueni Senator Dan Maanzo has dramatically asserted that President William Ruto is no longer in control of Kenya.

In a recent interview, Maanzo indicated that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga possesses the genuine authority in Kenya today.

He stated that Raila is politically dominant, with President Ruto depending on him to oversee the nation’s matters.

“Currently, Ruto’s administration is reliant on Raila’s influence. It is Raila who is politically leading this country right now,” Maanzo stated.

The Wiper Senator expressed these views while criticizing Ruto’s recent trip to Kondele, Kisumu on November 26, where he received an enthusiastic welcome from local residents.

Nevertheless, Maanzo dismissed Ruto’s visit, asserting that the crowd was financially motivated by individuals like Kisumu Senator Tom Ojienda to attend, suggesting that those funds could have better supported infrastructural development.

Maanzo further urged Ruto to contribute more to Raila’s African Union Chairmanship (AUC) campaign by providing additional funds.

He also encouraged Ruto to enhance lobbying efforts among other African leaders to support Raila.

“The resources that Ruto spent to visit Kisumu, if he genuinely wished to assist Raila, he could have used to travel to West Africa where Raila is currently situated.

“In the AUC competition, the voters are the presidents. Only President Ruto, in a formal capacity, can engage Africa’s presidents to promote Raila,” Maanzo clarified.

“Currently, you see Raila traveling to these foreign nations to meet foreign ministers and prime ministers without engaging presidents, which wastes time and money,” he added.
