Police Nab South B Robbery Suspects, Recover Stolen Phone

Nairobi police have arrested two suspects involved in a robbery incident in South B. The suspects, who were riding a motorcycle, accosted a member of the public and stole a high-end mobile phone.

The police responded swiftly to a distress call and managed to apprehend the suspects. Three mobile phones, including the stolen device, were recovered alongside the motorcycle used in the crime.

The suspects are currently in custody and are expected to appear in court to face charges. The police are expanding investigations to determine if the suspects are linked to other robberies in the area.

In a separate operation, police in Kirinyaga arrested three suspects and recovered a Glock 17 pistol loaded with 11 rounds of ammunition. The firearm is believed to be linked to a violent robbery in Ngong in March 2025.

The police have intensified patrols and rapid response measures to safeguard the public and curb criminal activity. Authorities are urging citizens to report suspicious activity promptly to assist in preventing further incidents.

The operations are part of a broader crackdown on organized crime in the city. The police have vowed to continue intelligence-led operations to ensure safety for all residents.

The investigations are ongoing, and more arrests are expected as the police continue to dismantle criminal networks in Nairobi and surrounding counties.
