A domestic dispute ended in tragedy in Kabwareng, Aldai, Nandi County, when Hannise Simani Juma fatally stabbed his wife, Winnie Akusuha, at her parents’ home before taking his own life.
Following the attack, Juma ingested rat poison and inflicted a fatal injury to his neck, leaving their three childrenone son and two daughterswithout parents.
The deceased were taken to the mortuary at Jumuia Friends Kaimosi Hospital as police initiate an investigation.
This shocking event has plunged the community into mourning, prompting calls for improved conflict resolution strategies within families.
