ICHUNG’WAH suggests intentions to compete for the Deputy President in the 2032 elections

ICHUNG’WAH hints at plans to run for the Deputy President seat while endorsing WETANGULA for the Presidency in the 2032 elections

Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wah has revealed his plan to run for Deputy President after President William Ruto’s retirement in 2032.

While speaking in Bungoma County on Sunday, Ichung’wah, who is also the National Assembly Majority Leader, stated that he intends to partner with Speaker Moses Wetang’ula in the 2032 elections.

Ichung’wah noted that Wetang’ula would be a formidable candidate to succeed President William Ruto after his 10-year term.

“During the time the honorable speaker served in the National Assembly, the only individual who appeared to surpass him was the late president, Mwai Kibaki,” Ichung’wah remarked.

He encouraged Wetang’ula to consider him for the running mate position in his presidential bid.

Ichung’wah promised to serve the country effectively, highlighting his dedication to the entire nation’s needs rather than concentrating only on Mt. Kenya, to mitigate the risk of being ousted from office.
