Gachagua Warns Ruto of ICC Consequences Over Reckless Rhetoric

If you and your allies continue to speak recklessly, you will end up at the ICC – Gachagua warns Ruto and his supporters.

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has issued a serious warning to President William Ruto and his associates, advising them to be mindful of their public statements to avoid possible consequences from the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.

During a Sunday service at AIPCA in Dandora, Gachagua expressed his concerns regarding the current administration’s rhetoric, indicating that it may result in international legal issues.

“Mr. President, you must be aware of the path leading to The Hague. From my observations, the president and his team are heading in that direction,” Gachagua stated.

Gachagua also referenced an incident involving a leader affiliated with the president who allegedly threatened to evict non-native residents from Lamu County.

He emphasized that the Kenyan Constitution protects every citizen’s right to reside anywhere within the nation and condemned threats to displace individuals based on their origins.

“Every citizen has the constitutional right to live anywhere within the Republic of Kenya. Lamu County is part of Kenya, and no one should threaten to displace others,” Gachagua asserted.
