KINDIKI Accuses GACHAGUA of Political Misuse of Deputy Presidency

KINDIKI Criticizes GACHAGUA for Prioritizing Political Gain Over Public Service

Deputy President Prof. Kithure Kindiki has criticized his predecessor Rigathi Gachagua for allegedly exploiting his position for political advantage rather than serving the Kenyan people.

During an event on Friday with 1,500 residents from Embu County at his Karen office, Kindiki remarked that Gachagua, who was impeached, chose to use the prestigious office of Deputy President for political maneuvering, rendering his continued presence in that role untenable.

“My predecessor opted to utilize the revered office of the Deputy President for political pursuits. That is his approach, and we wish him the best; consequently, it was not viable for him to continue in office,” Kindiki stated.

In contrast to his predecessor, Kindiki pledged to prioritize the nation’s development agenda, focusing on infrastructure, youth empowerment, and economic growth over political motives.

“I am dedicated to assisting the President in uniting our nation, fostering development across every region and improving the economic circumstances of all Kenyans through the effective execution of economic value chains,” Kindiki affirmed.
