Kindiki Vows to Keep Focus Amid Gachagua Distractions

“We will not be distracted from delivering for Kenyans – Kindiki warns Gachagua and associates”

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has reprimanded his predecessor, Rigathi Gachagua, accusing him of attempting to divert President William Ruto’s government from fulfilling its responsibilities to Kenyans. He emphasized that the government remains focused on service delivery to the public.

During a development tracking forum in Embu county at his residence in Karen on Friday, Kindiki remarked that those seeking to impede progress will eventually need to account for their own actions during their time in office.

“It’s a fair assessment, especially for those who had a two-year opportunity. The task is extensive, requiring visits to every village to address various issues. Our goal is to replicate this effort across all 47 counties,” stated the Deputy President.

“I am not concerned about the seriousness of our development agenda but rather about advancing it from its current state to our desired goal. “

According to the Deputy President, they will not engage in petty politics or scheming against others.

“We will not succumb to retrograde, primitive, and harmful political tactics. As leaders from Embu County, we will resist this. However, we remain open to diverse political views,” he added.

“The time will come when we will be evaluated on our commitments and must provide answers. Critics are, in fact, motivating us to work even harder.
