RUTO Repositions KINDIKI and Promotes MUDAVADI – DP’s Authority in Question!
President William Ruto has effectively demoted his deputy, Kithure Kindiki, who has been in office for less than three months.
This change follows the merger of the United Democratic Alliance with Musalia Mudavadi’s Amani National Congress (ANC).
New appointments were announced after the merger on Friday, with Kindiki being the prominent figure affected.
As per a statement from UDA Secretary General Hassan Omar Hassan, President Ruto retains his role as Party Leader, Kithure Kindiki is now designated as the 1st Deputy Party Leader, and Lamu Governor Issa Timamy assumes the 2nd Deputy Party Leader position.
Additionally, Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire will take on the role of National Chairperson, while Omar will serve as Secretary General.
Kelvin Lunani is the Vice Chairperson, Omboko Milemba is the Deputy Secretary General, Japheth Nyakundi holds the position of National Treasurer, and Vincent Kawaya acts as the National Organizing Secretary.
