Wiper Party Expels MP Farah Maalim for Insulting Kenyan Women

KALONZO MUSYOKA’s WIPER Party Expels DADAAB MP FARAH MAALIM for Insulting Kenyan Women

Kalonzo Musyoka, leader of the Wiper Democratic Movement, has expelled Farah Maalim, the Dadaab Member of Parliament, from the party due to derogatory remarks directed at Kenyan women.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Musyoka indicated that the decision followed the MP’s recent comments and takes effect immediately, expressing concern over Maalim’s conduct. Before his expulsion, Maalim served as the party’s deputy leader.

“For clarification, Farah Maalim, who has been the deputy of Wiper, is expelled from the Wiper Democratic Movement for breaching the constitution and infringing upon the rights of Kenyans,” Musyoka stated.

Maalim has faced significant backlash from the public in recent days for comments made during President William Ruto’s tour of the South Rift, which critics deemed offensive and abusive towards women in Kenya.
