Final warning! RUTO threatens to terminate all government contractors for negligence attributed to MORARA KEBASO’s exposés.
President William Ruto has issued a warning to government contractors regarding delays in the completion of important projects across the country.
During his visit to inspect the construction of the Kisii Cancer Centre yesterday, a visibly frustrated Ruto specifically reprimanded the contractor responsible for the center, as well as others engaged in government projects.
“You have received all the necessary funding. There is no justification for the lack of progress on this project,” Ruto cautioned.
“This is unacceptable. You will receive a final warning, my friend. If you do not improve your performance, we will terminate this contract and hire another contractor to ensure the timely completion of the cancer center.
“It’s that straightforward. There is no conflict or dispute,” he added.
The President directed the contractor to adhere to the project terms as per the agreement or face termination of the contract.
This admonishment followed complaints from key officials present at the inspection regarding the contractor’s delays in commencing the project.
Ruto’s warning comes in the wake of activist Morara Kebaso’s revelations about ghost projects throughout the country.
