Former Governor Lenolkulal Appeals High Court’s Decision.

Former Samburu Governor Moses Lenolkulal has filed an appeal. He is challenging the High Court’s decision to sentence him to eight years in prison.

He must pay Ksh84 million for corruption charges. Lenolkulal criticized the Chief Magistrate for not properly analyzing the evidence presented by the prosecution.

Lenolkulal urged the Appellate Court to set aside the case for a lower court to review. He argued that the Magistrate made errors in fact and law by not fully evaluating the evidence and misinterpreting his Declaration of Conflict of Interest
