Kikuyus’ Political Shift in Kenya.

Saboti MP Caleb Amisi cautioned Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua against divisive tribal politics. He warned of potential impeachment due to his actions.

Amisi highlighted a changing political landscape in Kenya’s Central region. He emphasized that the Kikuyu community is now more focused on electing a president who serves their interests. This is irrespective of ethnicity.

He stated that in 2027, the Central region is prepared to support other communities for the presidency, excluding Gachagua.

Amisi criticized Gachagua’s tribal approach, deeming it outdated and disconnected from the aspirations of the younger generation.

He stressed that tribal politics impedes national progress and warned Gachagua of potential consequences if he continues along that path.

Gachagua’s tribal strategy to unite Mt. Kenya has faced criticism from many Kenyans. This shift indicates a move away from traditional tribal-based voting patterns. It shows a trend towards a more issue-based and inclusive political landscape in Kenya.

The evolving political dynamics in Kenya, particularly within the Kikuyu community, suggest a departure from tribal politics. There is a move towards a more progressive and issue-oriented approach to governance.

Amisi’s remarks show a growing sentiment among Kenyan voters. This is especially true for the youth, who reject tribalism. They value leadership that addresses their needs and fosters national development.

Gachagua’s tribal tactics face scrutiny as the country navigates towards a more inclusive and progressive political environment.
