Mutahi Ngunyi, a political analyst, has praised President William Ruto for including the men of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga in the Cabinet.
Ngunyi said in a statement that the Gen Zs should rejoice that the president listened to them when naming his new Cabinet, defending Ruto from further criticism.
Ngunyi considered what more pundits could want after the Head of State surrendered more ground following various requests by a fretful Gen Z. The well-known political analyst talked about how Raila worked with the government at the time when the opposition party joined Mwai Kibaki’s Party of National Unity (PNU) to form a broad-based cabinet after the disputed elections of 2007.
“In 2008, ODM joined the government and established Vision 2030. They altered our nation. However, Ruto informed us that Raila has no place in his government. He has since climbed back up.
What more do we need from Ruto? How much blood? “He is developing his character,” Ngunyi stated in a post on X. John Mbadi, a member of the ODM, has been selected to serve as the National Treasury and Economic Planning Cabinet Secretary.
He is one of the people who will likely be in the next government after they are approved by parliament. Hassan Joho is the designated CS for the Ministry of Mining, Blue Economy, and Maritime Affairs, so Opiyo Wandayi has been proposed as CS Ministry of Energy and Petroleum.
Wycliffe Oparanya, a former governor of Kakamega, has been suggested for the position of Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs Development.
