2 People Die, Scores Injured in Grisly Accident.

Two people died on Saturday night, June 1, and several others were seriously injured after the vehicle they were travelling in was involved in a tragic road accident along the Mau Summit Londiani road.

According to reliable reports, the victims were travelling from Molo to Londiani in a private vehicle, which rolled several times at the Mau Summit area before landing in a ditch.

One of the victims died on the spot after being thrown out of the vehicle during the incident in which the fateful vehicle was trying to avoid a head-on collision with an oncoming trailer.

Another victim passed away at the Molo Sub-County Hospital where the survivors had been rushed for treatment.

Photos from the scene of the accident showed a completely wrecked vehicle signifying the intensity of the crash.

The incident comes just days after two people lost their lives and eight others were injured after they were involved in a tragic road accident on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway on Monday night, May 27.

The accident, which occurred at the Salgaa area in Nakuru County, involved a 14-seater matatu and trailer that collided head-on.

Reliable reports indicated that the trailer was avoiding hitting a Probox before it crashed into the matatu. The Probox was overtaking on the wrong lane of the road.

The eight passengers who were injured were taken to Nakuru Level Six Hospital and the deceased to the morgue of the same facility.
