Under Fire: ODM MP Compares Promises with Trump’s Rapid Achievements

Tulikosea wapi? ODM MP questions Ruto’s progress as Trump delivers 65% of campaign promises in 2 days

Saboti Member of Parliament Caleb Amisi has expressed concern over President William Ruto’s fulfillment of his 2022 campaign commitments.

In his statement, the ODM MP criticized Ruto for not honoring the promises made during the 2022 elections and for resorting to dishonesty.

Amisi drew a parallel with the United States, stating that President Donald Trump had fulfilled 65% of his campaign commitments within two days of starting his second term.

“In less than two days in office, Trump has delivered 65% of what he promised. Dear Ruto, what’s happening? Two years down the line? ” Amisi remarked.

These comments arise amidst increasing public scrutiny regarding the government’s effectiveness in tackling pressing issues, such as the rising cost of living and delayed development projects.

President Trump undertook significant actions in his early days in office, reinstating his signature policies. Conversely, Ruto faces accusations of deception and propaganda for his unfulfilled campaign pledges.
