A Ugandan nanny, Nabalayo Everline Loice, 23, was captured by DCI Starehe detectives after evading arrest for her part in a robbery targeting her employer in Eastleigh, Nairobi, on November 1, 2024.

Reports from Pangani Police Station reveal that Nabalayo, alongside another housemaid, opened the door to an armed assailant wielding a hammer. The pair allegedly assaulted the other maid, leaving her incapacitated in the bathroom.

The thieves stole valuables, including a gold set worth Sh210,000, a Lenovo XY laptop valued at Sh110,000, and an Infinix phone priced at Sh15,000.
