Fredrick Marwa, commonly known to his fans as Iam Marwa, is a Kenyan YouTuber and content creator. He gained fame through his adventurous travel videos shared on YouTube.
Born on November 15, 1990, in Kuria, Kenya, Marwa is married to Ro Cabrera, an Argentinian singer-turned-content creator.
Marwa met his wife on the dating app Bumble while traveling in Mexico. “I was traveling in Mexico and went on a dating app called Bumble. On that app, the lady has to text first. She said hi, and we clicked. That same day, we went for lunch, and just like that, we became a couple,” he said.

Marwa also revealed that he and his wife are expecting a baby, whom he hopes will be born in Argentina. Additionally, Marwa has expressed his wish to have a large family, stating, “Yes, we want a big family—actually, 10 kids. As soon as possible, we want our kids to grow up together.”
In response to a fan’s question on Instagram about the dowry payment process for his wife, Marwa explained, “Yes, in my family we have to fulfill the tradition. We must give out cows for her soon.”
A serial world traveler, Marwa has visited 75 countries, including 30 in 2022, 26 of which were new to him. “In 2022, we visited 30 countries, 26 of which were new ones,” he said. He dreams of traveling to every country in the world.
Marwa has also invested in his home village by building a villa costing 10 million Kenyan shillings. The seven-bedroom house features art, a theater, and a fish pond, among other amenities.
Iam Marwa is considered one of the wealthiest Kenyan YouTubers, with an estimated net worth of about KES 20 million.
