Ruto Vows to Unify Kenyans, Rejects Tribal Politics

“My mission is to unify all Kenyans, and I will not permit tribal-based politics in Kenya,” asserts Ruto.

President William Ruto has reiterated his dedication to eliminating tribal-based politics and promoting national unity.

During the inauguration of the Lenana School Primary tuition block in Ng’ando, Dagoretti South, Nairobi, the President urged all Kenyans to adopt unity and collaboration for greater prosperity.

He also distributed school uniforms to over 2,500 students during the ceremony.

“My mission is to unify all Kenyans. Engaging in hatred and tribal politics is unnecessary,” stated President Ruto.

The funding for the project came from his personal contributions.

Additionally, Ruto is financing the construction of 100 more classrooms in various Nairobi schools, including State House Girls and Nairobi School, where he conducted an inspection on Sunday, January 12.

Each school will receive 20 new classrooms, part of a broader strategy to enhance enrollment in city schools.

In his speech, Ruto encouraged leaders to prioritize the unity of Kenyans, asserting that divisions based on ethnicity and religion have no place in contemporary Kenya.

He expressed his commitment to improving the lives of Kenyans through transformative initiatives.

Ruto admonished certain leaders, labeling them as merely political figures concerned with the 2027 elections, emphasizing that the ultimate judgment lies with the Kenyan people.

Attendees included Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja, and several members of Parliament.
