Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua seems to be in greater need of former President Uhuru Kenyatta than ever right now.
It would appear that former President Uhuru Kenyatta is the one person Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua needs the most right now.
This is in light of the planned impeachment and ongoing investigations, in which his associates have been accused of funding the Gen Zs to undermine President William Ruto’s administration.
Now, Gachagua desires Uhuru to provide him with stability and authority as the Mt. Kenyan tycoon. Yesterday, Kieni MP Anthony Wainaina pleaded with Uhuru to formally transfer power to Gachagua during a burial in Nyeri County.
This would increase Gachagua’s bargaining power and give him legitimate control of the area. In order to preserve the region’s strength and unity, Wainaina emphasized the significance of a smooth leadership transition.
Wainaina stated, “We would like Uhuru Kenyatta to bless Rigathi Gachagua as the Mt. Kenya Region kingpin.”
The legislator suggested that they could present the former head of state with tokens of appreciation for his ten years of leadership of the nation and Mount Kenya.
He stated, “If we get the chance, we will take gifts to Uhuru and ask him to bless Gachagua and thank him for leading us for ten years.”
Wainaina also emphasized the symbolic significance of presenting Kenyatta with gifts as a token of appreciation for his ten years as leader.
“Respect and gratitude are as important as politics. The MP stated, “We want to honor him and guarantee that the region remains united under strong leadership.”
