My mission is to unify all Kenyans and I will not permit tribal-based politics in Kenya – RUTO asserts.
President William Ruto has pledged to eliminate tribal-based politics and promote national unity.
During the inauguration of the new tuition block at Lenana School in Ng’ando, Dagoretti South, Nairobi, the President urged all Kenyans to prioritize unity and collaboration for national prosperity.
He also distributed school uniforms to over 2,500 students during the event.
“My mission is to unite all Kenyans. There is no necessity for hate or tribal politics,” Ruto emphasized.
The project was financed through his personal donations.
Ruto is additionally funding the construction of 100 new classrooms in various Nairobi schools, including State House Girls and Nairobi School, which he visited on January 12.
Each of these institutions will have 20 new classrooms.
He highlighted this initiative as part of a broader strategy to boost enrollment in city schools.
In his remarks, Ruto encouraged leaders to prioritize the unity of Kenyans, stating that divisions based on tribe or religion have no place in contemporary Kenya.
He reassured that he is dedicated to positively impacting the lives of Kenyans through initiatives aimed at enhancing their well-being.
Ruto criticized certain leaders focused solely on the 2027 elections, asserting that it is ultimately the Kenyan people who will decide on the effectiveness of their leadership.
Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja, and several MPs were in attendance.
