Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and some Mt Kenya leaders have been linked to the Gen Z protests. These protests almost toppled the Ruto regime in June and July of the same year. Some leaders included former President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Sudi’s statements implied that the expansion of the government was driven by greed. They highlighted the negative consequences of insatiable desires in the world.

Sudi’s remarks underscore the political dynamics in Kenya. Alliances and power struggles play a significant role in shaping the government’s composition and stability.

The decision to include ODM members in Ruto’s government was strategic. It aimed to counter internal threats and foster national cohesion.

This move faced opposition from individuals seeking to keep their influence and control within the administration.

Overall, Oscar Sudi’s support for President Ruto’s decision to include ODM members in the government reflects a strategic political maneuver.

It aims at consolidating power, promoting unity, and thwarting internal challenges to the administration’s stability and effectiveness.
