In a stunning twist, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has broken his silence after being abruptly kicked out as the chairperson of the National Assembly’s Budget and Appropriations Committee—a move that has sent shockwaves through Kenya’s political corridors.
During a March 18 press briefing at KICC, Nyoro admitted he was clueless about why he was axed from the influential post. What’s more shocking? No official explanation was ever given!
“I woke up to the news of my removal in the newspapers, just like everyone else. No one from the coalition leadership has ever reached out to me regarding this decision,” Nyoro revealed, his tone laced with disbelief.
Despite the unexpected purge, the outspoken MP maintained that he harbors no regrets, choosing instead to embrace the lessons learned from his tenure.
“Regrets? I don’t do regrets. I take lessons and move forward. That’s what leadership is about,” Nyoro boldly declared.

With Nyoro unceremoniously booted out, Alego Usonga MP Sam Atandi swooped in, snagging the seat uncontested after being the only candidate to submit his nomination papers.
