MP Threatens to Oust Police Boss Over Church Chaos — “Kanja, We’re Coming for You!”

In a thunderous declaration that’s shaking the nation, Matungulu MP Stephen Mule has fired a political missile at Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja, warning that Parliament may soon move to boot him from office over his alleged political meddling and failure to protect Kenyans — particularly during a church service where violence erupted.

Speaking to the press on Sunday, April 6, an outraged Mule slammed the IG for what he called a gross dereliction of duty and accused him of being politically compromised.

This came after chaos broke out at PCEA Kasarani East Church during an event attended by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.“IG Kanja, listen carefully — if you can dance at political rallies in Nyeri, then you can damn well protect worshippers in Kasarani!” Mule declared.

“You either get your act together or we will start the process to kick you out. You are no longer untouchable.”The MP didn’t mince words as he called for a full-blown investigation, demanding Kanja expose the masterminds and funders of the violent church invasion.

He made it clear: the days of politically active cops are numbered.Parliament, Mule revealed, is watching the IG like a hawk and won’t hesitate to invoke its powers if he continues to play politics instead of policing.

“Stay out of politics, or Parliament will show you the door,” he said.Mule condemned the horrifying incident, stressing that places of worship must remain sacred and protected. “Churches are not battlefields. The constitution demands that we safeguard worshippers.

This attack was nothing short of an abomination.”The shocking scenes at the church saw Gachagua’s security detail fire warning shots into the air after a rowdy group of youth stormed the venue, reportedly demanding cash to attend. The chaos sent panic across the congregation, turning the house of worship into a war zone.

Gachagua, visibly shaken and furious, linked the attack to President Ruto himself, claiming it was part of a growing plot to intimidate and silence him. “Mr. President, what have you become?” Gachagua cried out.

“You sent goons to Limuru, then Nyeri… and now, to a church! This is despicable. You’ve crossed the line.”As tension mounts, the country is bracing for political fireworks. Will Parliament make a move against Kanja? Is the President behind the chaos? One thing’s clear — the battle lines have been drawn.
