KIKUYUs: Warning Issued for Future Fallout

ODM MP Criticizes LUOs for Celebrating RUTO’s Betrayal of KIKUYUs – Warns of Consequences Post-2027!

An outspoken ODM (Orange Democratic Movement) Member of Parliament has cautioned the Luo Nyanza community against rejoicing over President William Ruto’s perceived betrayal of the Kikuyu people.

In a social media statement on Saturday, Caleb Amisi, the Saboti MP, reminded the Luo community that it was the Kikuyus who supported Ruto’s rise to the presidency, yet they are now opposing his administration.

He questioned why the Luo community is celebrating the appointment of four Cabinet Secretaries while Central Kenya boasts numerous Cabinet positions without any celebration.

“The central region, despite numerous appointments from both UDA/Kenya Kwanza and recent Uhuru/Jubilee appointments, continues to reject Ruto. Some of my ODM colleagues seem thrilled about supporting the government over just four positions.

“Is this shortsightedness or ignorance? If Ruto relied on Central Kenya to gain power and has now turned against them to align with those who opposed him, what assurance do you have that he won’t do the same to you after you voted him in, embracing Central again to stabilize his administration? Remember, when your neighbor is being shaved, wet your own head,” Amisi wrote on X.
