JB Muturi Challenges Ruto – “Sack Me if You Can! “

Sack me if you wish; I no longer care about being your Cabinet Secretary – Fearless JB Muturi challenges Ruto to act

Defiant Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi is holding nothing back in his stance. He challenged President William Ruto to terminate his position if he so desires, following his comments regarding abductions.

In an interview with a local newspaper, Muturi expressed he has no fear of being dismissed from the Cabinet for criticizing Ruto and his administration over the issue of abductions.

“What fear? ” Muturi replied when asked if he was concerned about a possible dismissal, emphasizing that he places his trust in God should Ruto choose to let him go.

He highlighted his concern that, over six months after his son Leslie Muturi’s ordeal with unknown kidnappers, no charges had been filed, nor had any explanations been provided for his detention.

During a press conference on Sunday, Muturi strongly denounced the increasing number of abduction cases, seemingly pointing fingers at the state for its role. He urged for swift action to arrest those responsible for abducting young Kenyans since June 2024.

The Public Service CS mentioned that these abduction cases have gone unaddressed under President William Ruto’s administration, stressing the urgent need to tackle this issue. He noted the lingering emotional distress endured by his family following his son’s disappearance in June 2024″
