After she was left out of the 20 Cabinet nominations, former Gender CS Aisha Jumwa has been assured by President William Ruto that she will be a part of his government.
President Ruto reaffirmed to Kilifi’s residents that he would not exclude Jumwa from his administration when he spoke at the project’s launch for the Baricho-Kakuyuni water supply. “We will sort Aisha Jumwa; I am not leaving her behind.
Let me ask you, Malindi residents, who created Aisha CS. “Let us all unite to better the country,” President Ruto said. “Then I know how to sort her out.” Jumwa praised the president for naming Salim Mvurya (Trade) and Ali Hassan Joho (Mining) to his cabinet while addressing the gathering.
In addition, the former CS scoffed at those who had criticized her, claiming that she had been receiving calls from individuals claiming that she had been excluded from the Kenya Kwanza administration.
“I would like to commend him for the opportunity that he provided for me and the new opportunity that he will provide for me. I likewise say thanks to him for selecting Mvurya and Joho in bureau,” Jumwa said.
“Kwa hivyo mimi nitakuwa serikalini. Wale wakinipigia simu eti nimeachwa na Rais, mimi siko soko “Niliunda serikali hii na niko ndani ya serikali na nitakuwa serikali, sitoki kwa kuwa niko na William Ruto, simu nyingi mpunguzeni,” said the niliunda serikali hii.
Before President Ruto dismantled the cabinet on July 11, 2024, in response to the anti-government demonstrations that prompted his departure, Jumwa was in charge of the Gender Ministry. He revitalized the general population to cooperate to elevate the nation’s economy.
