Gachagua, alongside various opposition leaders, is set to tour multiple areas in Ukambani, including Malili, Sultan Hamud, Emali, Makindu Town, Kibwezi, and Machinery.
The expedition will proceed on Saturday, June 7, covering stops in Voi Town, Maungu/Taru, Mazeras, Mariakani, and Kisauni.

Former Deputy President and Democracy for Citizens Party leader Rigathi Gachagua is initiating a two-day outreach trip in the Ukambani region beginning Friday, June 6.
Accompanied by several opposition figures, Gachagua will explore various locations in Ukambani, such as Malili, Sultan Hamud, Emali, Makindu Town, Kibwezi, and Machinery.
On Saturday, June 7, the tour will extend to Voi Town, Maungu/Taru, Mazeras, Mariakani, and Kisauni.
Notable political personalities joining him include People’s Liberation Party (PLP) head Martha Karua, Wiper Party chief Kalonzo Musyoka, DAP-K leader Eugene Wamalwa, and former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi, among others.
This tour follows the Democracy for Citizens Party’s first National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Tuesday, June 3, at its headquarters in Lavington.
Presided over by Gachagua, the meeting represented a significant move towards the party’s official launch set for later this month.
After the NEC meeting, Deputy Party Leader Cleophas Malala informed the media that plans for the launch are in progress.
He indicated that a technical team has been established to assess potential sites, aiming to choose a location suitable for the approximately 50,000 supporters anticipated to attend.
“We discussed numerous items during our first NEC meeting, including the party launch,” Malala stated.
“We intended to kick off at Kasarani on June 3, but faced a venue denial. Nonetheless, we remain committed to launching this month and will reveal the new location soon. ”
Malala also disclosed that the NEC has constructed internal party frameworks consistent with the DCP constitution.
These frameworks involve creating an aspirants’
