CS Muturi Defies Ruto, Exposes Gov’t Scandal in Explosive Rebellion!

Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi has made a bold declaration he will not be part of President William Ruto’s upcoming tour of Mount Kenya. In a stunning move, Muturi distanced himself from the President’s itinerary, asserting that he has no obligation to follow Ruto around unless his ministry is directly involved.

Muturi, who met with Kikuyu elders on Saturday, didn’t mince words. He reminded the public that even during Uhuru Kenyatta’s reign, he never played the role of a presidential shadow.

“I don’t trail Presidents. I didn’t do it for Uhuru, and I won’t do it for Ruto. The President has his duties, and I have mine—as a former Speaker and now as CS,” Muturi declared defiantly.

His refusal to attend Ruto’s tour comes amid mounting tensions, as Muturi finds himself at odds with the government over allegations of forced disappearances and extrajudicial killings. Adding to the controversy, he has skipped at least three cabinet meetings since January, yet remains firm—he will not step down.

On Saturday, Muturi doubled down, demanding that the government take the issue of enforced disappearances seriously. He called for a tribunal to unearth the truth, daring anyone to challenge his claims.

“No one has refuted my statements. Not a single person has come forward to deny the facts I’ve laid out. That’s why a commission of inquiry is necessary—to expose the truth,” he insisted.

In an explosive interview with Citizen TV on March 12, Muturi made his stance crystal clear: he won’t resign unless President Ruto personally fires him.

“My fate in the Cabinet is in the President’s hands, not mine. He decides how long I stay,” he remarked.

Muturi also revealed that he had formally requested to be excused from cabinet meetings until the issue of forced disappearances was brought to the table.

The tension escalated after January 12, when Muturi dropped a political bombshell—he directly accused senior government officials of being involved in the abduction of his son, Leslie, during the Gen-Z protests in June. Since then, he has been relentless in his demands for accountability, fueling a growing rift within the administration.

The question now is: how long before this standoff explodes into a full-blown political crisis?
