Chaos Erupts at Funeral in Kakamega as Furious Mourners Chase Pastor Away Over Cultural Disrespect!

LUANDETI, KAKAMEGA — A funeral meant to honor the life of a young man turned into a dramatic and emotional battlefield as mourners exploded in outrage, forcing a pastor to flee mid-ceremony!

In a shocking turn of events, chaos broke out after the pastor reportedly blocked the deceased’s father, Joseph Wafula, from delivering his heartfelt tribute. Instead, he gave the microphone to the widow—a move that ignited fury among mourners, who viewed it as a blatant violation of deep-rooted burial customs.

“In our tradition, a parent must speak before an in-law. I told him, but he refused. He insisted the widow go first,” Wafula told reporters, still visibly shaken.

What followed was an eruption of anger. Mourners rose in protest, accusing the pastor not only of disrespecting their culture but also of desecrating the burial. One witness claimed the pastor stood on the grave and began cursing the family, allegedly spewing insults as tensions boiled over.

“This was unacceptable! You don’t curse a grieving family while standing on their son’s grave!” a mourner shouted.

Another attendee revealed that the pastor has a history of controversial behavior at funerals. “This wasn’t the first time. He’s done this before. We decided we’d had enough.”

With emotions running high and the crowd on the brink of revolt, the pastor was forced out. The family, in a bold move, cut ties with the church and carried on with the burial on their own.

As of now, local church authorities have yet to comment on the incident—but the outrage in Luandeti is real, raw, and still unfolding.
