After leaving Azimio, Martha Karua sent a strong message to Raila and ODM.

Leader of the NARC-Kenya Party Martha Karua charged on Thursday that certain politicians from Azimio, led by Raila Odinga, were using the Gen Z movement to further their political agendas and get prestigious posts in government.

Speaking in an interview with Obinna Show, Karua reaffirmed that the younger demonstrators’ demand for government responsibility was neither an ODM or Azimio initiative.

“I oppose turning the Gen Z generation’s need for responsibility into an opposition movement. Karua said, “Let the Gen Zs express themselves so we can look at their demands.”

“I think the constitution supports all of their objectives, including accountability. “Putting Kenya first is what the Gen Zs are asking for,” she continued.

President William Ruto and Raila Odinga had called for a national dialogue, but Karua rejected the idea, saying it would not address any of the concerns brought up by Kenyans in general.

The leader of NARC Kenya continued by highlighting other instances in which these kinds of conversations had failed.

Follow the advice of Generation Z. If you leave and would like to speak with us afterwards, that is OK. The former Azimio principal stated, “You should resign if people don’t trust you.”

She also charged that the President of State was not doing enough to stop the kidnappings and killings of Kenyans that occurred during the last protests.

The head of NARC Kenya remarked, “Look at the number of young people dead, 66 and counting, so many missing and bodies at the mortuary with falsified identities.”

Karua’s words are being expressed one week after she publicly declared that she was leaving Azimio la Umoja because of disagreements with the coalition’s leadership.

Karua stated in a statement that she could not continue to be a member of Azimio-One Kenya Coalition because of “prevailing political developments.”

“As per the terms of the departure clause(s) in the Coalition Agreement, we, NARC Kenya, now provide notice of our intention to leave the Coalition by this letter. As of the date of this letter, this notification is in force,” Karua said.
