Kenyan Senator Claims Contraceptives Are a Plot to Reduce African Population!

Kakamega Senator Dr. Boni Khalwale has sounded a fiery warning against the widespread use of modern contraceptives in Kenya, declaring them a “tool designed to suppress the African population.

“The controversial remarks came during a heated Senate session on Thursday, where Khalwale—who also doubles as a medical doctor—challenged the legitimacy and purpose behind modern family planning methods being promoted across the country.

“These contraceptives were never meant for our benefit,” Khalwale thundered. “They were crafted to limit Black Africa’s numbers, and we’ve blindly embraced them without question!”

In a direct rebuttal to Senator Hamida Kibwana—who had called on the government to enhance access to birth control to combat rising cases of unsafe abortions and unwanted pregnancies—Khalwale insisted that Kenyan women are not being given the full picture.

“Let’s stop pretending. No woman should touch these things until she’s birthed at least three children,” he declared, citing alleged long-term fertility risks linked to premature use of modern contraceptives.

Khalwale further advocated for a return to traditional African family planning methods, saying they are safer, culturally rooted, and better aligned with the values of African families.

His statements have sparked waves of concern and outrage, with critics accusing him of promoting outdated views, while supporters hail his bravery in speaking against global reproductive health campaigns.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health continues to push for broader access to modern contraceptives, noting a consistent rise in demand among Kenyan women.

However, Khalwale’s comments have now cast a shadow over these efforts, raising urgent questions about what’s really behind the push for modern birth control in Africa.
