MATIANG’I’S OFFICIAL DECLARATION FOR “2027” PRESIDENTIAL BID.

Ex-Cs Dr.Fred Matiang’i has declared his intention to run for the 2027 presidential elections.

Making his announcement on April 2,Kisii Matiang’i said he was responding to the people’s call urging him to join the race .

It is well known that this was his first time doing a public appearance after exiting the government in 2022 as the former interior cabinet secretary.

Matiang’i told the crowd in Gusii that he was ready for the task ahead but he first sought for their support.He then assuredly gave a firm declaration stating “I have spoken it now from my own mouth.I am ready.”

Matiang’i adjoined with a number of local leaders including Kisii governor Simba Arati and Nyamira county governor Amos Nyaribo.

The key allies of president William Ruto from the Gusii region – North Mp Mugirango and chair of Gusii parliament Joash Nyamoko,Nominated senator Gloria Orwoba and former West Mp of Mugirango Vincent Kemsi were also present.
