Isiolo Senator Humiliated as Crowd Chants ‘Dullo Must Go’ in Front of Ruto!

Chaos erupted on Friday, February 7, as Isiolo Senator Fatuma Dullo faced a hostile reception while attempting to address residents during a public event attended by President William Ruto.

The crowd erupted in chants of “Dullo Must Go” the moment she took the microphone, drowning out her speech.

Video footage reviewed by Wamuzinews.co.ke captured a frustrated audience refusing to engage with her. Unable to calm the situation, Dullo cut her remarks short, stepping away from the stage with a brief, “There’s nothing more to say, thank you.”

The confrontation unfolded in the presence of President Ruto, who was overseeing the event as part of his visit for the groundbreaking of the Isiolo County Aggregation and Industrial Park.

Following Dullo’s rejection, another local leader took the stage and was warmly received by the crowd, delivering his speech without interruption. Shortly after, Ruto wrapped up the rally to prevent further disruptions.

Dullo’s ordeal mirrored a similar embarrassment faced by Vihiga Governor Wilber Ottichilo just weeks earlier in front of President Ruto.

During Ruto’s Western Kenya tour, Ottichilo attempted to address the public at the Luanda Modern Market but was met with boos and jeers that completely overpowered his speech.

In footage reviewed by Wamuzinews.co.ke, Ottichilo struggled to finish his remarks. “On behalf of the people of Luanda, I would like to express my gratitude…” he began, only for the crowd to erupt, forcing him to step down.

President Ruto has encountered several similar incidents during his nationwide tours. On December 29, 2024, Bomet Governor Hillary Barchok faced intense public rejection following a church service.

Residents in Koiwa, who had attentively listened to Ruto’s speech, immediately protested when Barchok was invited to speak.

Captured on video, the crowd raised their hands in defiance, signaling they had no interest in hearing from him. Ruto, caught off guard, observed as Barchok’s attempts to regain control were met with louder jeers.

Brushing off the backlash, Barchok turned to the President and dismissed the uproar as a result of “internal county disputes.”
