calls for Resignation:Elachi urges muturi to step down

Pressure has intensified on beleaguered Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Bedan Muturi to resign following his absence from the inaugural Cabinet meeting in Kakamega hosted by President William Ruto yesterday.

In an interview, Dagoretti North MP Beatrice Elachi advised Muturi to step down if his relationship with Ruto is beyond repair.

Elachi emphasized that, as an experienced politician and leader, Muturi should resign to protect his reputation. “Just resign and leave; you have kept your name and do not allow your name to be dragged,” Elachi stated.

Muturi’s failure to attend Ruto’s Cabinet meeting has fueled speculation in political circles, particularly after he alleged that the government was behind recent abductions, including that of his son, Leslie.

His claims have placed him at odds with several government supporters who have called for his resignation.
