The Kenyan musician conveyed his appreciation for Jason Derulo’s efforts in a statement. He added that the majority of people think the two look identical.

Jason Derulo replied by thanking Remcy Don for getting in touch and urging him to continue shining. He was referring to him as his global doppelgänger.

The thrilled Kenyan performer expressed his shock at the American singer’s response to him. He admitted to having had several instances of trolling, but he is happy he persisted.

“🥺🥺🥺. This is still unbelievable to me. Finally, after dealing with so many jerks, I can speak with my lookalike @jasonderulo directly. NEVER CRY ABOUT IT. Ile matusi iko kwa internet…! I cherish you, my friend. GLAD TO SEE YOU QUICKLY ❤❤❤💯.”

In an earlier interview, Remcy talked about how, even as a small child, people began noticing how much he looked like Derulo. It wasn’t until he was an adult that he realized how much.

As a young artist, Remcy’s goal is to collaborate or at least meet Jason Derulo.

Remcy said that the singer’s likeness to him served as inspiration for his desire to go into music.

“Even though I was talented, I never thought of music as a career. My brother once gave me a picture of Derulo, and I was able to verify that he was my famous impersonator. That’s how my passion in being an artist started.”
