NTV Announces Return of Churchill Show.

NTV has disclosed that the renowned Churchill Show will make a grand return to the screens.

In a statement on Monday, June 24, the Nation Media Group-owned station stated that after years of requests from the audience, they were bringing back the show.

“The wait is over, Kenya, the legendary Churchill Show is making its grand return after years of requests from you, the fans. We heard you loud and clear, and we’re bringing back the side-splitting comedy, and hilarious sketches you love,” read the statement.

However, the station did not disclose the exact date the show will start airing again.

“Get ready for a new season of pure entertainment, state-tuned,” NTV stated.

The station shared photos of Churchill Show host Daniel Ndambuki, popularly known as Churchill, exchanging documents with NTV personnel.

NTV pulled the plug on Churchill Show in February 2022, 15 years after the  show was launched at the station.

The show featured top Kenyan comedians including Eric Omondi, MC Jessy, Eddie Butita, and Professor Hamo, among many others who left the show to advance in their comedy journey.

After the NTV exit, Churchill Show made a comeback at TV47 on March 19, 2022.

“Super excited to be back on stage with new big acts and a whole new experience. And yes, we have a new home,” Churchill said in a previous statement.
