A tragic incident unfolded in Cincinnati when a three-year-old girl was fatally attacked by dogs two days after Christmas.
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Kingsley Renee Wright, who passed away on December 27 while visiting relatives.
In a distressing 911 call, Kingsley’s father told dispatchers, “I just woke up and my daughter is dead. There’s blood everywhere, and I don’t understand what happened.” He insisted the family’s dogs were caged at the time.
Responding officers, faced with the graphic scene, turned off their body cameras as they secured two dogs and awaited animal control.

Kingsley’s mother, Gina Smith, expressed her anguish, stating, “I would never have allowed my baby near dangerous animals. I just want to know why and how this happened.”
Cincinnati Animal CARE later removed three dogs from the home, placing them under a mandatory 10-day bite quarantine.
Kingsley’s obituary described her as a joyful child with a radiant smile who loved singing and dancing. She is survived by her mother and two brothers, Devin and Bradley.
The investigation into this heartbreaking incident is ongoing.
