More police officers were sent to Dagoretti High School in Nairobi. A fight broke out between two groups of students during a basketball match.

The clash resulted in 11 students being injured. The confrontation escalated into chaos as students used sticks and stones to attack each other.

The dispute began between a Form One and Form Four student, leading to fighting between Sudanese and Kenyan students. The violence continued into the night and took on a religious tone. Eleven Sudanese students sustained minor injuries and were taken to a medical clinic for treatment.

The situation remained tense, prompting extra police deployments to the school to manage the issue. The police are working to quell the violence and keep order on the school premises.
