Avoid Rigathi Gachagua at all costs; he will lead you to destruction and despair – warns Prof. Makau Mutua to GEMA Nation.
Prominent scholar and political analyst, Professor Makau Mutua, has cautioned the Gikuyu, Embu, Meru, and Akamba (GEMA) communities against following former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua without question.
Characterizing him as a political “Neanderthal,” Mutua, a former Law Lecturer at Buffalo Law School in New York, asserted that Gachagua would lead the communities “to death and darkness. “
He urged the communities to steer clear of him, labeling him a tribalist driven solely by self-interest.
“To my GEMA cousins please IGNORE disgraced ex-DP @rigathilike the PLAGUE that he is. The man is a political NEANDERTHAL who will lead you ‘unto death and darkness. ’
“You are fellow Kenyans. Don’t blindly follow a SPLITIST, a believer/practitioner of tribal APARTHEID,” Mutua stated on his X account.
Makau’s warning comes as the GEMA communities consider endorsing an alliance between former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka and Gachagua.
