President Ruto Gets Fired by Karua for His Protest Remarks.

Martha Karua, the leader of the NARC-Kenya, criticized President William Ruto on Sunday for his comments, which came after the Head of State promised to crack down on criminal groups who were using recent rallies as a cover for ongoing chaos in the nation.

Karua continued her attack on the government on her X account, noting that the Head of State was displaying excessive bravado through his public statements. Karua stated, “Ruto talking like owns Kenya exclusively.”

Earlier in the day, President Ruto pledged to do everything in his power to safeguard the nation and uphold law and order after attending a church service at Chebango in Bomet County.

During his remarks, the Head of State appealed to those who are opposed to his ideologies to join him in allowing the issues at hand to be resolved amicably and democratically.

Ruto revealed that he had listened to and responded to the various issues that Kenyans had raised, and it was now time to move on and allow normalcy to be restored. “Enough is enough; this cannot continue because the nation is greater than any individual group.

As a nation, we must work together to safeguard Kenya and ensure its democracy. Earlier in the week, President Ruto had said that foreign actors were funding protests in Kenya to cause chaos.

The Head of State especially terminated an admonition to New York based Non-Legislative Association (NGO) The Passage Establishment.

The Principal Secretary of Foreign Affairs would then demand, in a letter to the NGO, that the organization provide the government with a list of all the organizations it was funding in Kenya as well as the nature of their activities.

However, in a response, The Ford Foundation directed the government to its website, which lists all grant recipients, and denied that it was financing protests in Kenya.

This comes as the nation gets ready for a second round of protests on Tuesday. The protests, which have been called #OccupyEverywhere and have been going on for a month, want the government to be held accountable.

The youth of Kenya want the Kenya Kwanza administration to address corruption and waste, appoint competent individuals to key positions, and exhibit overall superior leadership.
