Energy and Petroleum Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi has announced his commitment. He plans to rally the entire Luo community in support of President William Ruto’s re-election in 2027. This unity is particularly clear in Siaya. He stated, “Kule kwetu Siaya tukiamua, tumeamua na tumeamua tunashikana na Rais William Ruto.”
