Crazy World!!! Landlord who ran away from his home after a group of men forcefully took over
A landlord in Busia County fled for his safety after finding an armed gang hiding inside his house in the Namalo area. According to a report, the three men had forcefully entered the residence while escaping heavy rains.
A neighbour who noticed the suspicious break-in alerted the landlord, who rushed to the house with him. They found the intruders relaxing and warming themselves with a jiko. When questioned, the men claimed they were businessmen seeking shelter, but they refused to allow inspection of their bags.

As the landlord tried to call the area chief, one of the suspects snatched his phone, triggering a confrontation.
During the scuffle, the gang pulled out two rifles, including an AK-47, prompting the landlord and his neighbour to flee. The suspects later escaped towards Wanga Hills, leaving behind items such as an Arafat scarf, a maroon T-shirt, and a note with Islamic wording.
Police officers processed the scene and collected the items as evidence. Early investigations revealed the firearms were linked to a previous robbery and murder of an officer in Siaya County.
