Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa has warned Gen Zs not to go on a suicide mission by marching to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in protests today.
Didmus Barasa, a member of the Kimilili Legislative Assembly, led protesters today to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), where he urged Gen Z’s not to commit suicide. Barasa warned in a statement posted to his X account that trying to enter a restricted area like JKIA could result in severe consequences.
He warned the Gen Z’s that if they dared to challenge President William Ruto’s government, they might end up in jail, hospitals, or, sadly, even the morgue.
“To all Gen Z’s, choose between going about your business tomorrow and trying to go to the airport or any other restricted locations.”
Air terminal course will have just a single outcome: ending up restricted in one of the underneath government structures (Majengo ya serikali).
“Some will go to police cells, others to clinics, and some to the morgue. “You have the ability to choose; my sister is uwezo.” Barasa declared, “I have done my part as your de facto chairman.”
The Public Police Administration (NPS) additionally cautioned dissenters arranging exhibitions on Tuesday, encouraging them to avoid state-safeguarded regions. “We urge all demonstrators to abide by these legal provisions and not attempt to enter or interfere with protected areas.”
“The Public Police Administration is unflinching in its obligation to maintain and authorize these regulations,” NPS expressed.
