Horror In Kericho! Man Caught Defiling 1-Year-Old Niece In Family Home!

In a shocking turn of events in Chesingoro village, located in Kericho County, a middle-aged man has been arrested for horrifically abusing his own niece, just a mere one-and-a-half years old. The suspect, identified as Justice Kipsigei Cheruiyot, was apprehended in the act within a cramped room, and the details are enough to send shivers down anyone’s spine.

Authorities reported that the child’s desperate cries pierced through the walls, alerting her mother and nearby villagers. Alfred Korir, the Assistant Chief of the Kusumek sub-location, revealed that the mother had mistakenly trusted her brother to care for her daughter while she attended to other responsibilities outside their home. It was a trust that would lead to an unimaginable betrayal.

Villagers rushed to the scene, furious at the abomination they had just witnessed. They confronted Cheruiyot and delivered a brutal beating before handing him over to police at Litein station. Meanwhile, the innocent girl was rushed to Kapkatet Hospital for immediate medical attention and later transferred to Kericho County Referral Hospital for specialized care.

The grieving mother, still in disbelief, expressed her horror, saying she never expected her own brother could commit such an atrocity. This chilling incident serves as a stark reminder for families to exercise extreme caution when leaving their children in anyone’s care, no matter how trustworthy they may seem. The community is in shock, grappling with the fallout from this nightmarish betrayal.
